A lot of companies have stopped donating to the Seditious 147 Republicans
The brilliant Steve Schmidt details why the companies that donate to these seditious 147, should be shunned
"Many major U.S. corporations are halting contributions to all congressional Republicans who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory, putting Florida Sen. Rick Scott in a potentially tough spot."https://t.co/UwnvLqT42N— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 12, 2021
There is a profoundly important issue that is being grotesquely under covered in the media, particularly the business and tech media. It concerns the actions of 140 House Members led by @GOPLeader Kevin McCarthy and 7 US Senators on the night of January 6, 2021. This should not— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
be a difficult concept to grasp. 147 white members of the GOP congress rose for the purpose of nullifying black votes to maintain the loser of the election in political power. Had they been successful the American Republic would have fallen. The throwing out— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
Of millions of black votes is what that vote was about and that vote was immoral and UN American. No company can support any political committee that funds the people who voted to establish a new type of Jim Crow. They voted to strip the voice and rights away from millions of our— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
Fellow Americans on the basis of their skin color. Financing this evil cause that affronts our American values is unacceptable. This vote was an autocratic declaration steeped in the cancer of segregation.— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
It desecrated the martyrdom of Americans who gave their lives so that future generations would have a voice and take their rightful place in the nation’s story. @ProjectLincoln believes it is essential that the most important companies in America make a declaration and draw— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
A line in the sand. This moment demands moral clarity. It demands actions for the common good and compels the practice of citizenship in defense of democracy and the civil rights of millions of Black Americans. The largest corporations in America must act in a manner that is— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
consistent with their publically stated values. There is no world where companies can sign morning statements about BLM and attend evening cocktails with members who acted maliciously to strip the vote of Black Americans. @GOPLeader Kevin McCarthy led this effort. Who will— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
Write him checks ? Who will write checks to election denier and devotee of the Big Lie @SenRickScott at the @nrsc. ? Who will fund the committees that fund @HawleyMO @SenTedCruz @RonJohnsonWI and the other inciters of the insurrection ?— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
However there are companies still donating to the seditious 147 Republicans who voted to keep Trump President on Jan 6th.
These companies must be avoided as they are rooting against democracy and are for sedition, even after the Capitol siege
Publix heiress gave $300k to January 6 event and $25k to DeSantis in 2019. Publix gave DeSantis $100k in December and he directed vaccines to be distributed at Publix locations. He has been touring them practically every day this month. Here are some of his PR photos pic.twitter.com/yYE7qIt866— Daniel Uhlfelder (@DWUhlfelderLaw) January 30, 2021

I am calling for a nationwide boycott of @Publix because profits from this supermarket chain were used to fund Trump's illegal & seditionist efforts at stealing the election & overthrowing our Constitutional Democracy. Please retweet if you agree. Thank you.— Richard Signorelli (@richsignorelli) January 30, 2021
Hard to overstate how terrible it is for the @Publix brand that their owner spent $300,000 on the Insurrection at the behest of a man who harassed the parents of children killed at Sandy Hook for years. https://t.co/8FfChQbPxE— Sleeping Giants (@slpng_giants) January 30, 2021
1. @Publix heiress Julie Jenkins Fancelli gave $300K to finance the January 6 event that turned into a riot.— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 30, 2021
That was the bulk of the funding.
Publix is saying they have nothing to do with Francelli.
BUT Publix that isn't the full story. pic.twitter.com/c3we8k5Mud
2. @Publix is one of a handful of companies that has said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about whether their intend to keep donating to the 147 members of Congress who voted to overturn the presidential election.— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 30, 2021
They've ignored our inquiries for WEEKS.https://t.co/r4Z4TjJUCe
Companies that said they would stop donating to the 147, but are still advertising on FOX News which is still repeating the lie that Trump Won

1. @Microsoft is one of the largest contributors to the members of Congress who tried to subvert the Democratic process— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 23, 2021
Microsoft has made NO COMMITMENTS to stop funding this group
At a company meeting on Thursday, Prez Brad Smith explained why.
And it's pretty appalling
2. In a transcript of the meeting leaked to CNBC, Smith said that @Microsoft needs to make contributions to politicians because sending these politicians money allows him to "pick up the phone" and get "help" https://t.co/wejwhsPVUW— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 23, 2021

On DECEMBER 31, 2020: @Microsoft donated $2500 to Hawley
Despicable. @microsoft Has decided to remain a financier of the BIG LIE, sedition, insurrection and the nullification of millions of black votes. The mob that attacked the Capitol was made up of an amalgam of fascists, (proud boys), racist thugs, neo Nazis, whites supremacists,— Steve Schmidt (@SteveSchmidtSES) January 23, 2021
